Many of us have found it useful to answer the questions at left to help determine if we have a problem with compulsive eating.
If you answer "yes" to several of these questions, you may have a compulsive eating or overeating problem. Visit the Find Meetings page for a list of meetings near you.
The Space Coast Intergroup has proposed amendments to its Bylaws. Intergroup welcomes review and comment by all OA Space Coast members. Please convey your comments to your local meeting's intergroup representative no later than January 10, 2020. Intergroup representatives will meet on January 11, 2020 to deliver comments at the regular Intergroup meeting. A copy of our existing Bylaws, including markups to show proposed amendments, is available for download by clicking the button below.
Overeaters Anonymous is a Fellowship of individuals who,
through shared experience, strength, and hope,
are recovering from compulsive overeating.
We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating
compulsively. There are no dues or fees for members; we
are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither
soliciting nor accepting outside donations.
OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization,
political movement, ideology, or religious doctrine;
we take no position on outside issues.
Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive eating
and compulsive food behaviors and to carry the message of
recovery through the Twelve Steps of OA
to those who still suffer.
